Today marks three years since I was arrested and placed in pre-trial detention for nine months – without charges, without a verdict.
An event that changed my life. But it didn’t break me. Quite the opposite.
I look back with gratitude:
- For everyone who stood by my side during this time,
- for the countless signs of support,
- for every honest word and every quiet hope.
But more than anything, I look ahead – with clarity, inner calm, and unshakable trust that truth always finds its way.
Demonstration on September 7, 2022 for Michael Ballweg, JVA Stuttgart Stammheim
29.06.2025 – Today marks the 3rd anniversary of his arrest.
The attempt to silence me had the opposite effect. We didn’t give up – we kept building: Networks of self-empowerment, digital alternatives, new forms of collaboration.
Because:
“The best leader isn’t the one with the most followers. The best leader is the one who creates the most leaders.”
When people begin to trust themselves, take responsibility, and stand in their own strength – a movement is born that cannot be stopped.
Three years later, this is no longer about a single case. It’s about what we, as a society, do with moments like these. It’s about personal responsibility. The willingness to look deeper. And the courage to choose truth over fear or pressure.
Thank you – for your support, for your courage, and for walking your own path.
Let’s keep building – together – toward a better world. For peace. For freedom. For self-determination.
Yours,
Michael
Current status after 38 days in court: District Court wanted to dismiss – Prosecutors force continuation
Since October 2024, the trial against me has been ongoing at the Stuttgart District Court. After 38 days of hearings, around 80 witnesses, and months of testimony, one thing is clear:
- Not a single witness could prove I gained any personal benefit from the gifts I received.
- The court wanted to dismiss the case – the prosecution responded by filing a motion to recuse the entire panel of judges.
- The original charges were already rejected in October 2023. It was only the Higher Regional Court that forced the case to proceed.
- Most recently, a tax official openly spoke of a political investigation order. 🕵️♂️
📆 The trial continues – until October 2, 2025.
The next hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Stuttgart District Court.
